 Ambrian appointed Nominated Advisor and Joint Broker to Centamin Egypt Limited



Ambrian Partners Limited ("the Company"), the wholly-owned corporate finance and
stockbroking subsidiary of Ambrian Capital plc, announces that it has been
appointed Nominated Advisor and joint broker to Centamin Egypt Limited 
("Centamin").



Centamin has been exploring for gold in Egypt for 12 years and in 2005 was
granted a 160km2 exploitation lease over the Sukari Hill Gold Project.



The current resource at Sukari is 10.45 million ounces of gold (Measured:
2.6Moz, Indicated: 4.2Moz, Inferred: 3.6Moz), with ongoing drilling expected by
the Company to add significantly to this resource. A feasibility study to
upgrade the project to a 4-5 million tonne per year operation was completed in
February 2007.



Centamin is listed on AIM, the Australian Stock Exchange and the Toronto Stock
Exchange and has a market capitalisation of GBP 474m.
