                              Exercise of Options


As a result of the exercise of share options by former directors, Ambrian
Capital plc announces that 2,800,000 ordinary shares of 10p each were issued on
27 September 2007.

The Company has applied for the shares to be admitted to AIM and trading is
expected to commence on 5 October 2007.   The Company's authorised share capital
after this issue is 111,361,208.

These shares were placed with the Ambrian Capital plc Employee Benefit Trust, a
non-executive director of the Company and a financial institution.

The Ambrian Capital plc Employee Benefit Trust acquired 2,000,000 shares and now
holds 5,658,333 shares representing 5.1% of the enlarged share capital.

Mr Charles Crick, a non-executive director of the Company, notified the Company
that on 27 September 2007 he acquired 150,000 Ordinary Shares at 57.25p and that
his total holding has increased to 200,000 ordinary shares.

In addition on 27 September 2007 the Board granted Mr Crick 100,000 options in
the Company at an exercise price at 60p per share exercisable up to 27 September
2014.
