LONDON, 4 August 2011 - The Board of Ambrian Capital PLC announces the retirement of Lawrence Banks as Chairman and a Director of the Company with effect from 4 August 2011. This follows the announcement at the AGM on 29 June 2011 of his intention to retire.

The Board would like to thank to Mr Banks for his long service to the Company and wishes him well in his retirement.

Nathan Steinberg, an independent non-executive Director, will become Acting Chairman of the Board on an interim basis pending a long-term appointment.
