05/12/2020 13:13 | figtree - yes I do agree equity stakes can become ridiculously valuable and with Just Eat for example valued at £11 billion there is obviously a lot to play for. The question is whether DISH software is worth anything or nothing. It is not immediately clear from looking at their phone App at the moment. The fact that somebody is prepared to put in $5m is however very positive and they must know much more than I do. I am in this with a small punt. | kibes
04/12/2020 16:08 | $5 for 20% in spv If SPV VALUATION becomes $40m - he owns $8m Equity stakes when sold off can be 10-20x multiples of the orignal stake. You know that already. Equity investment vehicale are not new. I like the the new venture building diversification far more than original IPO idea and it is a simple sweat for equity strategy they are working on. IF any of the co plan an IPO - then that is the gold in the future for DISH and it’s parter. The investment House may have a number of leads already is my gut feeling. DYOR. | figtree99
04/12/2020 15:31 | ive got 10grand itching to put into here | lloydiee69
04/12/2020 11:33 | Why would an investor put up $5m to get just 20% of an SPV? The current market capitalisation of Big Dish is £4.7m, so for $5m they can practically buy the whole thing. Rather puzzling. If 20% is worth $5m, they must think the whole SPV is worth $25m. Are people really ready to throw a lot of money at a speculative idea like this to get just 20%? Are the Big Dish team, currently without a CEO, worth $20m? | kibes
04/12/2020 09:35 | I always felt this could turn on a sixpence and clearly sentiment now has, ahead of expected positive news, turned very bullish. Those waiting for the next RNS to buy back in have been caught wrong-footed and missed a bargain. The stock is still cheap though, but for how much longer?? IMHO. | bishopawn

03/12/2020 16:48 | What has caused the increased interest and return of so many buyers when there is no news yet on which to trade?? Perhaps a leak from somewhere. Or has it always been there for people to glean in the last couple of RNS's? But missed by the doubters and knockers.... | bishopawn

02/12/2020 15:48 | Johnyee, it is obvious that bob has shorted Dish and is now concerned that things might be turning around. He clearly thinks he can influence the situation by spouting nonsense on here. He’s sadly deluded. And speaking of nonsense and delusion, where has Topaz gone? I really miss its daily “warnings̶ | troy holton
