28/4/2023 07:40 | Inflation is there re costs of course but maybe that includes the cost of new mining/expansion operations that won't bear fruit initially. I am wondering what a sponsorship program is - good works to keep the company in favour or something more direct like training workers? | ![]() researchcentre123
28/4/2023 07:37 | admin expenses thru' the roof and what the hell is admin sponsorship expenses? | ![]() sleveen1
28/4/2023 07:37 | Currency exchange rates change, not in our control. The issue isn't material, so is it compliance? Related party transaction? | ![]() excellance
28/4/2023 07:33 | The substantial increase in costs and increase in currency exchanges losses bit disappointing. | ![]() mold breaker
28/4/2023 07:32 | Why not suspension straightway? Or maybe it takes the lse a few hours to process the paperwork? Or looks less drastic and allows if someone needs their money Tuesday? | ![]() researchcentre123
28/4/2023 07:08 | Interesting - well if there is no problem, given the share collapse last time they were late maybe suspension is the best option as new auditors get to understand it all. There's never a dull moment with this share | ![]() researchcentre123
28/4/2023 07:07 | "the Directors have been advised by PKF Littlejohn LLP that the audit is substantially complete and that there are no material audit issues causing this delay." 27/4/2023 08:51 | Will ALTN even make tomorrow for reporting? Pathetic basket case really. Also the apologists who think this is just normal behaviour ... As I recall, last year they were still releasing a full (qualified) version of their accounts on the morning of their AGM after the AR and cut down version of the accounts were released just 1 day earlier. This after using up the 2 extra months allowed because of Covid to report up to 30/6/2022 instead of 30/4. No surprise, subsequently the auditors resigned and there is now a new auditor who likewise seems to be struggling. Posted last week: stevea17118 Apr '23 - 13:14 - 10055 of 10097 Edit 0 0 0 ALTN Annual Report and Accounts to be posted within 10 days. Being ALTN probably they will leave it to the last day, Friday 28/4, 5pm? So the PR opportunity is wasted and there can be no news coverage because of the w/e. They have had 10 months to prepare for this so I hope the new auditors provide a glowing report .. | ![]() stevea171
26/4/2023 17:52 | I'd love to know what Xi said to Macron in Beijing for him to announce that they should distance themselves from the US. Of course that outburst was down played and they tried to suppress it... After Nordstream surely nobody on earth can trust the yanks! | ![]() excellance
26/4/2023 17:15 | At last count 19 countries have asked if they can join BRICS global economic community. I see no reason why the UK can't apply, tho I expect they'd turn us down. As for the dollar, it is only backed by the American establishment and their military, and my guess is that the military will be used to manage any country who threatens the "US way of life" ie the petrodollar. Even Saudi and Iran are speaking again, and considering trading oil for gold or Chinese Renminbi. The US can only control the price of gold as long as the dollar is still a credible currency, with a credible and stable country behind it, but that is increasingly unclear. I don't think that the USA has had a credible president in living memory, and the sanctions on Russia may be the last throw of the dice for the dollar. | ![]() excellance
26/4/2023 15:22 | With the comments on the family taking it private...I used to have those doubts, but no longer. They gain exponentially with the success of Altyn plus the prestige of having made a very profitable company, and the prospects of them receiving dividends, which I know they are now very mindful of how the share price will react when any dividend is paid. They do have a reputation to clear after previous litigation, and where they certainly seem to be managing to build Altyn, even if the share price may not reflect it.....YET. If they had wanted to take it private they could have done so at a much lower sp, but they continue to build the company with impressive results and in my opinion so much more to come and where because of fiat currencies and the likelihood of the petrodollar falling from grace, then gold will be on the up and up. Even rumoured today that countries are starting to transact in gold and gold backed currencies may be on the horizon, rather than the dodgy bits of paper from Comex and the like. | ![]() pensionplanner
26/4/2023 10:40 | The Q4 22 prod nos were hit by bad weather, so assuming weather improved then Q1 23 should show improvement. Add to that increased grade and increased price of gold... | ![]() excellance

26/4/2023 08:23 | Just 2 days left for ALTN to release: Annual results & accounts 2022 (by Friday 28/4) Q1/23 Production report I hope they are worth waiting for .... | ![]() stevea171
25/4/2023 20:04 | Near 300p in August 2020 when gold prices and production were much lower and funding wasn't in the bag and without any dilution. We could double and we'd still be silly cheap. | ![]() excellance
25/4/2023 20:00 | After a long down trend, from October last year there's a straight line steeply up, and although we got ahead of ourselves in January and we saw some profit taking the up trend seems to be intact. A breakout from this level could be very exciting. | ![]() excellance
25/4/2023 19:21 | I think we'll see a much higher share price in the next 18 months, assuming we keep up the good work and that the Ukraine war stays in Ukraine. | ![]() excellance
25/4/2023 19:17 | I doubt they will do an equity raise and even less likely at these prices as the share price is half the price the majority shareholder last invested at.. it wouldn’t sit well with them | ![]() mikro1
25/4/2023 11:27 | Agreed, but if it expands our pf and mitigates risk...? | ![]() excellance
25/4/2023 10:37 | Can't really see an equity raise as it'd dilute managements shareholding | ![]() researchcentre123
24/4/2023 17:02 | The company raised $40m over nearly 7 years at 7%, plus $10m over two years at 10.5% via bonds. The next step could very well be an equity raise to fund TS, assuming it's a goer. Alternatively we could entertain a merger or RTO to utilise our listing and expand our pf. | ![]() excellance
24/4/2023 15:02 | So far they haven't really utilised access to equity markets, which is the primary reason for listing, so I assume they intend at some stage to do exactly that. In the meantime we are very visibly in the shop window, with accounts and production reports. | ![]() excellance |
