ALTN have done a great job over the last 18 months, yet communication in terms of investor presentations, broker notes and social media pr has been nil.

The 65% holding by the family is likely seen as a big negative, as is the Kazakhstan location.

They've invested a lot of their own money into this, plus another small fortune in loans and bonds, and we need to see that all of these efforts are bearing fruit in the form of increased revenues, and maybe a hint of profitability.

An update on TS drilling results and open pit development in parallel to processing plant upgrades and improved and sustained production, grades, and recovery rates will set this on fire if they turn on the communications and get the message out.

Got to wonder if they are planning some kind or corporate action too?

Personally, I will be disappointed if this isn't c£5 within 3 months - Even then it would still be grossly undervalued......

Gold breaking $1800oz and holding would be good for sentiment which seems to be returning to the gold producers right now.

Altyn Gold seems cheap to peers.

Gold moving up nicely, still think this has £2+ written all over it ahead of the next production update due in May.

I've only sold 5000, a tiny percentage of my ALTN holding, less than 5%, and since this has risen over 50% ALTN is now a huge part of my pf.

I saw an opportunity at ECR where I have a small holding, so decided to rebalance a tiny bit.

That's why I'm here, and I think the story here will unfold very quickly over the next 3-6 months. Hopefully that will start with Q1 results probably Tuesday week. Earlier would be good to catch a few out. GLA

What happens to the price when they get to the 3.6g/t as per the CPR? Double the production, huge cost reduction.
Name another proven producer with 6m ounces in the bank and exploration to come?

It's been a hell of a ride for me over two years.

0.50p to 3p (300p) then down to 97p and back to 150p

Should be maybe 600p in a couple of years when TS comes online if gold remains above $1400

Have traded this very successfully in the past and am now back in, this is poised for a decent run for a number of reasons.

Production update
Gold price rising
Recent big hitting broker appointment

As others point out it moves fast on low volume.

It's always high risk is exploration, but they've set up really well, are very well funded, and the share price is ridiculously cheap. £16m mkt cap with £6m in the bank and drilling for months and months with their own rig and a contractor, then theres the foreign assets with royalties.

Just a little luck and it will do very well.

I am convinced Q1 production will be very good, the shares are attracting ongoing attention and look poised to breakout towards £2 before news in May, this could come quickly if momentum builds.

Markets are starting to revalue gold producers who have had a torrid time over the last 3 months.
