Buys pushing the offer limit. Looks like it's up again today all being well. Will it crack that 1p at last?

i think we all wish and hope for the best in situations like this, and that our opinions and research are justified and confirmed by actual stats as they are released.

I guess with this bull run in gold, and the interest building here without any news.
They may as well take their time on news (to a degree !) and we might well climb to 2p before they update the market with hopefully great news.

wishful thinking I guess

Let's be honest none of us know but the way gold is re rating and the amount of gold they have on the ground based on the latest e and y cpr's this is the most undervalued gold miner on lse. The herd will arrive eventally. Give this one day of 100m plus volume and it will do a 50 percent plus rise imo.

Anyone in now and selling below 5p is short sighted in my view.

Setting aside the debate around news and the managements ability to develop the assets, the assets as defined by the CPR’s represent the bargain of the century based on the current and predicted gold market over the next 5 years.

A breakout is more than just a day. I would like to see a weekly close. Possible back test to come but the technical situation is looking good. Fundamentals are undoubted.

Well, we've had a good day when everywhere else was crashing, and the chart suggests a breakout, so I'm happy, but this party hasn't even started yet, regardless of coronavirus.

The way to make money in shares is buy where you know more than everyone else. Here is a classic example.

Could sell at near 74 and buy at 82 near close.

With markets crashing all around I can't grumble about ths performance here today.

More tomorrow and for several weeks or months is my expectation.

I'm certainly not selling.

Yes I was just about to post that it's another false close, should be 0.75 bid.

If I'm not mistaken, the mid-point should be 0.7775 (to be precise) based on the bid/offer.

Google says 82 and if correct by close then this is officially a break out is it not?

I think Joe public won't read any CPR's, they won't understand them, they just like spectacular rns's.

But they are just doing what they always do. The value can be seen if you look I think would be their view. They are not going to stoke things up. Read the cpr's if you need an idea of the potential.

If the company wanted to capitalise on this perfect situation they would surely release news this week?

There have been several significant events for ALTN over the last year.

The loans and bonds fund raising

The two CPR's

The purchase of trucks

DB rationalising their funds and dumping ALTN shares

The rising gold price

Now all we need is confirmation that the company are finally delivering on their promises.
