18/3/2014 15:37 | Long term, I think this will be a sound investment because of the tech they have...I'm purely interested in determining whether the company should be regarded as particularly cheap historically... Right up until June 12th 2009 they had around 82m shares in issue so at the height of the share price in Feb 2007 of around £1.47p they had about a fifth as many shares in issue as they do now....can't see how anyone can dispute that as it is contained in historical RNS'.....the money raised in June 2009 added around 100m shares....and more have been issued since.... I love your enthusiasm Cube and I'm sure this will come good...but it's no good people just looking at where the price has been and assuming it will return there...it may, in time, but not because of a return to previous value because between 25-30p, it's already there....it will do better because of new factors going forward which are in it's favour... All imo dyor etc PS I have recently purchased here by the way..... | sja123
18/3/2014 15:33 | Crispin Odey's built up a nice stake in Circassia. I wonder if he's taking a side glance at AGY? | mirabeau
18/3/2014 15:30 | Barefoot, looks like your Flat bottomed, steep sided Bowl is forming very nicely...:0)) | cube boss
18/3/2014 14:58 | Trying to get the Proactive investors link up dated June 12th 2009 22 million raised, which made the Weinstein family of Chile our biggest shareholder, holding a tad under 50% | cube boss
18/3/2014 14:55 | I'm really glad i bought this last week.. seems to be climbing quite quickly now.. upwards and onwards.. 85% of my shares are with AGY hopefully it reaches 35p -40p soon.. Any predictions for this week/Next ? Malcolm | malcolmdgama04
18/3/2014 14:45 | I think your RNS was at the start of 2007 when the share price was at around 12p a share, in your post 2283 you mention £1.20p a share, this was in January 2008. In August 2007 the share mag tipped AGY when they where trading around 70/80p they went to £1.47 high around the end of the year. Most of this I'm going from memory ..:0)) | cube boss
18/3/2014 14:30 | Sorry Cube....but that doesn't tie up with all the RNS' I've read....at the beginning of 2007 there were 81,950,632 as detailed below....unless every RNS that year and in 2008 is incorrect.... Holding(s) in Company Alert RNS Number:8276Q Allergy Therapeutics PLC 06 February 2007 Allergy Therapeutics plc Holding in Company Allergy Therapeutics plc (the "Company") received notification on 2 February 2007 from AXA Investment Managers UK Ltd that AXA S.A. and its group companies are interested in 5,779,620 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares "), comprising a beneficial interest of 2,400,000 Ordinary Shares and a non-beneficial interest of 3,379,620 Ordinary Shares, representing 7.05 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital of 81,950,632 Ordinary Shares, as detailed below: Company / Fund Holding % AXA Framlington Xerox Final Salary Pension Scheme 447,250 0.55 (Non-beneficial) AXA Framlington Islington Group Pension Scheme 280,832 0.34 (Non-beneficial) AXA Framlington SEI UK Equity 500,000 0.61 (Non-beneficial) AXA Framlington Throgmorton Trust 2,400,000 2.93 (Beneficial) AXA Framlington UK Smaller Companies 1,400,000 1.71 (Non-beneficial) AXA Framlington Biotech 283,200 0.35 (Non-beneficial) AXA Framlington BAE Systems Pensions Fund CIF Trustees 325,644 0.40 (Non-beneficial) AXA Framlington BAE Systems 2000 Pensions Fund 142,694 0.17 (Non-beneficial) Total 5,779,620 7.05% This information is provided by RNS The company news service from the London Stock Exchange END HOLUNSNRBSRURAR | sja123
18/3/2014 14:08 | Cube boss, very interesting figures that you have quoted. If they are correct, and I have no reason to doubt them, then we are valued at 1/4 of what we were prior to the stop of the trials. IE to reach where we were then the price would need to be around 90p!! Roll on! | richsawko
18/3/2014 13:58 | You don't want to bet sja12 do you? There where 320mil in 2007 and there are 409mil now, and there are only around 79mil to go around, as the rest are held by the Weinstein family, they own 49% the rest are held by 2 institutions and the Directors..:0)) The last fundraising was in 2009 and they raised 22.4 mill, the Weinstein Family bough most of the issued shares..:0)) Sorry I missed a 3 off your user name, but what's a few numbers between friends?...:0)) | cube boss
18/3/2014 13:53 | I think you'll find that there are about five times as many shares in issue now as there were when these were £1.20p....so 24p would make them around the same market cap as they were at £1.20....be careful you are comparing like with like here.... That said, they are in a much better position now imo with green light in North America and a more positive market for biotech at the moment....especially when compared with Circassia.....AGY a long way ahead and much cheaper imo... | sja123
18/3/2014 13:52 | Doe's this confirm what I've been saying about the MMs trying to scare people into selling?, and it's now very hard to get back in! Hold tight guys and they have no alternative, but to put the share price UP..:0)) Onwards and up guys..:0)) Friday could see a new high..GLA | cube boss
18/3/2014 13:50 | Got 10k topup, but was hard to buy had to ring the broker and even he had to wait 10mins.We could be in for a good week imo, no electronic quotes, and the buying hasn,t even started yet, wait till thurs and fri. | shafaq
18/3/2014 12:40 | same to you cubeboss | genises
18/3/2014 12:27 | Going back very nicely now, and why not! great results to come Mon 24th and we should also have an update on how things have started in the first 3 months of this year, which will be better than expected!. Like Jimmy said, an update on the US would be nice but, one things for sure, as the trials for Grass are on going, I don't think a partner will be long in coming. Ragweed in the US is another thing! and I think it's a matter of AGY finding the right partner, and getting the very best deal for them! AGY hold all the cards as they have a game changing Vaccine that will change the way the Americans treat allergies! so the right partner is crucial for AGY....:0) With over 80 million Americans suffering with Allergies from Ragweed, our Vaccine will change their life's, and possibly cure them after 3 seasons of taking the Vaccine!. Onwards and up.. GLA .:0)) | cube boss
18/3/2014 11:02 | hi dewtrader, yes they were £1.20 and higher, the big drop was when the hold was put on testing by the Americans due to a single event which proved to be unconnected to the drug. Hold was lifted late last year so we have restarted final trials and, hopefully, reaching for those highs again | richsawko
18/3/2014 10:23 | starting to glide up nice chart, didnt realise these were 120p not long ago | dewtrader
18/3/2014 10:07 | Starting to see a little movement now.. I wish i could just turn off the internet and come back to it on friday.. | malcolmdgama04
18/3/2014 09:04 | Cubeboss Go and take the dog for a very long walk and come back on the 24th what will happen will happen supply and demand will send the shares into orbit. Its Not as if you are going to sell in the near future. watch and see what happens to plethora over the next 3 months our time will come the same way. Now where shall I put my bonus next week??? | genises
18/3/2014 08:17 | Looks like they are at it again! only a buy this am and down we go, 500,000 buys late last night @ 21.85 and down we go!..:0)) Happy days..:0) | cube boss
17/3/2014 17:21 | Sorry peaked to soon last post.... that would be quite a drop in the share price and a real test of character and resolve in the company. I for one don't like my investments dropping by more than 20% so i am in that camp but will see what unfolds | barefoot141
17/3/2014 17:19 | From a technical perspective this seems to heading for the 18-19 marker. If it does and it holds (support) then fine, but if it can't stick then the next support if 14-15. For the 'later in' investors that would ber q | barefoot141
