With the acquisition of an old silver mine, this is a low cost route to quick production. The historic amounts produced weren’t massive but to get into production within say 12 months and then expand the resource using cash flow for further drilling is a nice model and an easy way to multi-bag.

If they can JV Donovan, this looks very interesting again...

Very interesting thoughts there The Count! I think UFO is quite hard to value and it didn’t really deliver for many years, but recently there have been so many positive changes, especially with the news on Wednesday. Mining and exploration companies tend to be categorised as Gold, Silver, Copper etc, but in Mexico I can understand why UFO is in the silver category, although Donovan 2 could be more copper-Gold.
I have taken a small position, and I agree it has real potential to multi bag from here, GLA!

I made this post on the SHG bb, thought I might share here.

Interesting to see where it goes from here, I think what we have seen is a general rerating of the entire exploration and mining sector. There will be reactions to this rerating, but this bull market in the mining sector has a long way to go yet, a few years at least, IMHO. The last bull market in this sector was 10 years ago now!

All these mining stocks were sold off due to COVID, even though the underlying fundamentals of our assets increased significantly. If you look at most gold stocks they show a similar dip, taking a breather, in the recent share price gains.

Psychologically, and I love the psychology of speculative manias, people are still thinking that this high gold price is unproven, unsustainable, and therefore it won't lead to continued fantastic returns for mining companies and shareholders. Once this sinks in, that these high prices are here to stay for a long time and the subsequent profits, these mining stocks will continue to advance, significantly. The market cap of this stock is ridiculously low, some exploration companies who are years away from first gold pore have a higher market cap!

The Buffet news further endorses to me, and to the market, that higher gold prices are sustainable and here to say, this backing by Berkshire is another sign that we are a long way off the end of this bull run in gold. Berkshires' move signals a new dimension.

One last thought, consolidation and takeovers. As these mouth-watering profits start to flow in, the inevitable takeovers and speculation of the next takeovers will run, that last part will signal the middle of the bull run in my opinion, as the takeovers reach ever high prices and bigger deals. Years away from that, sit back and be patient. It is the waiting, the sitting that makes the big money.

There will be reactions to this rerating, but this bull market in the mining sector has a long way to go yet, a few years at least, IMHO. The last bull market in this sector was 10 years ago now. This stock is exceedingly cheap if they can get a big player come in a JV on Donovan 2, the IO projects or perhaps even the silver projects. I think we may also see a move into West Africa with a gold project acquisition later this year.

Thanks for that. Just out of interest not telling anybody to buy but put bloe on your watch list. I am a holder there but just incase news drops in next few weeks as some unknown person or persons as been buying about 60k cash worth a day for past week seems a lot of money to throw at a tiddler I am hoping whoever it is as been tipped off

I would like to see it close above .3p today. This board and stock is still very quiet, a good sign. If they get a JV with Tech or Anglo on Donovan that would be very nice indeed, along with a JV with BHP or RIO for the IO, DSO projects.
