25/1/2002 10:37 | oh my god,can anyone lend me a tenner? | donnhaus
08/1/2002 16:57 | another large x trade today, and seeing the late t trade go through made me realise why there's been no announcement yet,the original huge buys were protected and of course no announcement has to be made until the whole order has been completed, obviously at this time the original order has'nt been completed, hence no announcement. i think it's reasonable to assume that our stakebuilder must now have approaching 10% of this company.a prelude to a full bid?no harm in hoping. donnhaus | donnhaus
03/1/2002 10:38 | i see another 1% quietly changed hands yesterday,in a x trade. again assume britannic is the seller, again no wiser as to the buyer. i find it hard to understand why there's still been no announcement from the first clutch of buys.i thought there was a time frame that governed this, anyone know what it is. donnhaus. | donnhaus
20/12/2001 22:33 | Still watching and waiting. Looking positive and only a small weakening yesterday. | honiton
20/12/2001 15:18 | just how long can they string it out before making an annoucement? is it a good thing that it's taking so long? a few sales have been going through,is this a bad sign? another x trade today, probabley between britannic and stake builder, is this a good sign? questions questions. | donnhaus
15/12/2001 00:16 | well we know who's been selling,i wish the buyer would be as forthcoming. | donnhaus

12/12/2001 08:32 | I'm watching but have not contributed to the thread since I have nothing to add. So if there are more like me you are not as alone on this thread as you may think. I like the fundamentals; good yield, low PE, low PEG and good recovery story. Although I have not bought in yet. Keep posting guys. Paul | pdt
12/12/2001 00:01 | donnhaus:- Was that your buy today? | honiton
11/12/2001 19:34 | honiton i topped up last week. i also suspect we are pretty much alone in our interest as to who has taken this stake and why,at least that is what the price seems to be saying.i can certainly think of plenty of companies where if a mystery buyer took a 4.5% stake there would be frenzy.but you never know, maybe we are ahead of the game,we'll know when the announcment comes. regards donnhaus. | donnhaus
11/12/2001 16:28 | Some small retail purchases going on. Is somebody reading my posts (other than you donnhaus)? | honiton

10/12/2001 16:32 | I need to do some more research. haven't got time whilst still at work. In particular, we need to look at:- Who are the major shareholders. What are the EPS and forward PE forecasts What are the potential synergies What is the likely take-out price. I'm a very cautious investor, so I don't invest until I have a lot of facts. However, I like the look of this company's fundamentals and their position. If you give me your e-mail address I will e-mail my research to you tonight. Kind regards | honiton
10/12/2001 15:31 | honiton are you saying compass could be the ones stakebuilding,as a prelude to a full blown bid? compass are certainly major customers of axd,but i can't really see why they would want them. but one thing is sure, and that's the fact that someone is stakebuilding in axd,and in these circumstances a bid certainly can't be ruled out.let me know if you come across anything. regards donnhaus. | donnhaus
10/12/2001 14:38 | yep thats another 0.5%,as i keep saying some thing unusual is going on,but what? thats the question.someone sure seems to be stakebuilding.5% of the company has now changed hands in the last 3 trading days. | donnhaus
10/12/2001 13:39 | 150,000 X trade. Could be interesting. Regards | honiton
10/12/2001 10:35 | well the weekend has come and gone and i'm none the wiser as to who took a 4.5% stake on thurs,i thought someone somewhere might have shed some light on this, but not a word anywhere. in the absence of any well informed comment or supposition,we're simply left to guess if the stakebuilers intentions are benign or hostile. there must be an announcment soon,i would have thought. | donnhaus
07/12/2001 10:59 | something unusual is happening,yesterdays volume(all buys)was the highest for 6 years. | donnhaus |
