16/3/2015 23:22 | Norbus, Dr Raymond Akers jnr has been a continual failure from the perspective of shareholders since Akers Biosciences came to AIM in May 2002. He might take his coin but if anyone that knows him speaks to any investors either here in the UK or in his native US an altogether different story will very likely be told. | mcmather
16/3/2015 23:17 | Quite a bit in there - dating back to 1 Mach 2007 / 7% Royalty Sales / 20 year term / allegations that one of the party's "has pursued and continues to pursue various schemes and artifices to defraud" / etc and so definitely worth a read: | mcmather
16/3/2015 23:11 | Ongoing litigation here between Akers and a chap called Lawrence Martin concerning royalty payments pertaining to the sales of alcohol breathalyser detection devices / the patent surrounding the same; is Walt a doctor or a poacher?? Seemingly to be published tomorrow, it appears that this case will now be heard in New York - home territory for Akers? - as opposed Florida which, presumably, would have been more advantageous for Martin? 17 March 2015 - Court Explains Refusal to Transfer Contract Dispute's Venue to Middle District of Florida Has this had some effect on the release of the results? Either way they will need to be published within the next 2 weeks; ie by the end of March 2015. | mcmather
11/3/2015 14:41 | Nice to see AKR up to $4.15 in the USA, i.e about 275p in our money. I'm now up about 25% on my American shares what with the share price strength and currency movements - long may the dollar's strength continue :o)) Let's see if AKR can bring in more contracts to match the Youtube confidence (or hype). If they can win more new £1m contracts that'll be fine by me - and if they're repeat orders then even better. | rivaldo
11/3/2015 06:28 | mcm The lyle Daily Mail tip is a favour to the fund manager who bought prior to NASDAQ as part of the plan to go on that market; If he is not out, he has done his dough. Notice how revenues are coming off new contracts rather than growing repeat sales; That is gypsy sales; you run to stand still . All theses tests sound great on paper, but unless they become standard they will never be more than novelties; Are you going to ponce around checking for heart attack when you need to treat patient immediately whether he has it or not; What happened to Alcohol test; way they were talking | norbus
09/3/2015 17:56 | Norbus, re Dr Raymond Akers Jnr's 'activities' here, I'd suspect that there are one or two - perhaps quite a few more? - paying close attention to all ongoing including this from an earlier post on here: $650,000 for a company which will later announce massive losses for 2014; his remuneration package will equate to around 14.5% of all (gross, not net) revenue generated by the company in 2014. As the heading asks: 9 January 2015 - Greedy incompetents or citizens the US should be rightly proud of? Raymond F. Akers Jr 70,000 shares = $262,500 (based on a share price of $3.75) Thomas J. Knox 50,000 shares = $187,500 (based on a share price of $3.75) Gavin Moran 35,000 shares = $131,250 (based on a share price of $3.75) Brandon Thomas Knox 25,000 shares = $93,750 (based on a share price of $3.75) The Mail Online appears to have 100m unique hits / visitors per month and this fella tipped them as his share for 2015: Ian Lyall - Akers Bioscience If you look at the share price chart of Akers Bioscience you’d think it hadn’t been a particularly clever year for the diagnostics company. | mcmather

19/2/2015 09:41 | But WW, if you want to keep the faith: "18 Feb 2015 - Only a matter of time for $10-$15 range, maybe more." | mcmather
19/2/2015 09:27 | I'd take hope out of the equation; based upon what you know do you think Dr Raymond Akers Jr is more concerned about the return on investment of shareholders - of the company which bears his name - both here and in his native United States of America? Or more concerned about his remuneration package which, with the shares he has very recently awarded to himself, will take his latest package to nearly $650,000?!? $650,000 for a company which will later announce massive losses for 2014; his remuneration package will equate to around 14.5% of all (gross, not net) revenue generated by the company in 2014. As the heading asks: 9 January 2015 - Greedy incompetents or citizens the US should be rightly proud of? Raymond F. Akers Jr 70,000 shares = $262,500 (based on a share price of $3.75) Thomas J. 15/2/2015 23:49 | Save the best till last... 24.10 I think it (the company / the current stock price) is just an absolute steal of a buy at the moment. I am so confident of this that me, Thomo', Little Tommy and our Gav' invested $674,000 in buying 180,00 shares. Sorry, what's that Maureen? I can't say that because we did NOT part with any money - least of all our own - but simply awarded them to ourselves? Crikey, thanks Maureen, I think we might just have got away with that.... 9 January 2015 - For services rendered and to be rendered to the Company the following receive: Raymond F. Akers Jr 70,000 shares = $262,500 (based on a share price of $3.75) Thomas J. Knox 50,000 shares = $187,500 (based on a share price of $3.75) Gavin Moran 35,000 shares = $131,250 (based on a share price of $3.75) Brandon Thomas Knox 25,000 shares = $93,750 (based on a share price of $3.75) Raymond F. Akers Jr., Ph.D. Total Calculated Compensation $381,473 As of Fiscal Year 2013 | mcmather
15/2/2015 23:34 | 20.03 BLOCKBUSTER potential / MASS MARKET potential of our products. Just not the year that has just gone. Or the 12 years prior to that. 22.07 New sales team are all commissioned based people....make a small profit this year (2015). 22.54 JV in China (ie NOT with Novotek China). Revenue to be generated mid this year. | mcmather
15/2/2015 23:34 | 10.20 We use that money (Nasdaq) to commercial products that we have been developing over the last number of years. That is what the company is all about right now, commercialisation; let's see whether that proves to be the case for 2014 with their having had the funds available since Jan 2014. 11.50 Because the products will be assembled in China..... 12.28 These networks are set up now to rapidly expand sales in these areas and that's now started to happen. 13.00 New innovative sales strategies that are being developed by our NEW sales organisation. A prize for anyone who can guess how many times Dr Dollar has uttered these words since Akers Biosciences came to AIM? Nearest 100 will do. | mcmather
