17/1/2023 12:59 | Interesting info, although not Namibia "Globally, industry investment in battery production and its value chain is increasing. This, in turn, is driving demand for underlying battery raw materials, including lithium, whose demand has overtaken that of non-lithium batteries. Chinese investors have shown tremendous interest in the country’s lithium. Zimbabwe is recognised as one of the most prospective countries in Africa for pegmatite-hosted lithium. Lithium is increasingly becoming a key mineral worldwide with its demand surging for use in the ceramics industry, mobile phone manufacturing, and the making of automotive batteries" | dunns_river_falls

13/1/2023 17:17 | Any objections to me creating a new thread to emphasise the name change and highlight the lithium potential? I also wanted to add links for recent company videos / presentations etc and maybe track production in the header. | dunns_river_falls

13/1/2023 08:21 | Tin flying again today @ $28,900/Tonne up 4.58% at time of post. The reopening of the Chinese markets and factories is going to have a positive effect on the tin price / demand and don’t forget with the production increase and reduced aisc at Uis we are cash flow positive just on tin. We are likely to be the 1st lithium producer listed on AIM , could already be dependent on if you accept the samples sent to the potential off takers as production, all the lithium is free and there’s quite literally a mountain of the stuff. Once the shares start catching the eyes of the influencers and tip sheets the price of ATM May begin to reflect it’s worth but I doubt that. Happy to be a holder | koolio

11/1/2023 09:46 | AfriTin Mining Ltd 10 January 2023 10 January 2023 AfriTin Mining Limited ("AfriTin" or the "Company") Confirmation of Name Change AfriTin Mining Limited (AIM: ATM), an African technology metals mining company with a portfolio of mining and exploration assets in Namibia, announces that, further to its announcement of 5 January 2023, the Registrar of Companies in Guernsey has confirmed the name change from Afritin Mining Limited to Andrada Mining Limited ("Andrada"). Accordingly, t he change of name will take effect, and dealings under the new company name of Andrada Mining Limited (AIM:ATM), will commence from 8.00 a.m. on 11 January 2023. As previously announced, the name Andrada reflects the Company's expanding lithium and tantalum resources alongside its existing tin production. The new name originates from José Bonifácio de Andrada e Silva, the Brazilian mineralogist and professor who first discovered petalite and spodumene, which are major lithium bearing minerals and a precursor to the identification of lithium. Management believes that the Uis licence could host a globally significant lithium resource. The Company's ISIN will remain GG00BD95V148 and its trading mnemonic will remain ATM. The information required to be disclosed pursuant to AIM Rule 26 of the AIM Rules for Companies can still be accessed on . A new website address will be provided in due course. Anthony Viljoen, CEO, commented : "I'm delighted to confirm the Company's change of name and we look forward to rebranding as Andrada Mining. The Company's potential lithium resource size in Namibia is extremely exciting, and the change of name reflects the importance of it within our growing production profile, beyond our existing tin operation. We look to the future with huge excitement as Andrada Mining plays its part in the energy transition." - END - | someuwin
