03/6/2010 08:57 | MATX & SEYP still happy to collect here | mattjos
27/5/2010 14:26 | Matt, about time this got recognised especially with the world cup just around the corner. | celeritas
27/5/2010 11:17 | Harbinger & Edmonds are developing into quite a team in Africa ... i believe our Doctor Solanki is next in London in June to meet investors & update them on progress ... our new broker has been resolutely sat on the Bid throughout this market turbulence collecting whatever stock may have been worked loose. They will be expecting to sell that stock higher up later. News and then a broker note is what i'm waiting on in the next few weeks. Current price is well below what Harbinger have recently paid for their next slug of equity | mattjos
18/5/2010 14:09 | the old team slowly coming together in AMEI by the looks of it, from today's rns. | mattjos
17/5/2010 12:11 | Matrix have been happy to sit on the Bid for a while now. | mattjos
11/5/2010 22:56 | T/U was 5th May last year, Ops update 4th August and Prelims 26th August. should be reasonable to assume a t/u in the near term & then over to Matrix shortly thereafter to give the market some sort of near term price target. Paint & drying here at times i know! Am i chatting to myself now? | mattjos
10/5/2010 12:38 | Maputo now open & this also in the RNS: The Company is also extending its current facility in Harare to include a full boutique 20 bed hospital and refurbishment work is also underway to establish a Well Woman and Well Man Clinic in Nairobi, Kenya. It is expected that all these facilities will be fully operational by the end of June 2010. one hopes the extension decisions are as a result of demand. Could do with an update on metrics now and then a broker note from the new broker - gotta start earning their corn soon :-) | mattjos
22/4/2010 09:44 | Made me laugh but, clearly this sort of thing is on people's mind when travelling and the DAR Well Woman Clinic gets a clear reference | mattjos
20/4/2010 01:20 | i was thinking of a little top-up shortly | mattjos
12/4/2010 11:46 | this will go mad high between now and the World cup in June! Lets not forget that! | everlastian
06/4/2010 17:30 | Steg ... recent broker appointment and figures in the pipeline ... I'd suggest that Matrix will come up with some guidance in the next few weeks following results when some more details will become available. Main thing at present is the Harbinger investment strategy indicates they are funded thru 2013 & early figures have been promising, suggesting individual locations achieve break-even prety much as forecast. Welcome aboard if you decide to take some. | mattjos
06/4/2010 16:27 | Hi, Anyone got any figures or forecasts for this share? Are they due to make a profit any time soon? Ta | stegrego
06/4/2010 13:28 | I believe the Maputo clinic will be open very soon. Tuesday, April 06, 2010 African Medical Investments opens medical centre at Cape Town airport ahead of World Cup 2010 African Medical Investments (AIM: AMEI) has added to its current network of clinics, hospitals and medical centres in Africa with an airport medical & vaccination centre at the new international terminal at Cape Town International Airport. The 350 sq m (square metre) clinic will cater for all passengers travelling through Cape Town International Airport as well as local communities, housing an emergency medical care and resuscitation unit, a minor operation theatre and an after-care and recovery facility. The company will also make available ambulances, response vehicles and medical flight arrangements in case referrals to other hospital facilities are required. The company is aiming to generate further revenues through occupational health screening for airline employees and other associated staff, travel vaccinations for visitors, physiotherapy treatment, dental services and a pharmacy. "The new clinic at Cape Town International Airport... will provide a further boost to our profile. We opened our original facility at the airport at the Domestic Terminal in March 2009 and achieved cash flow profitability in less than four months, so hope that the clinic at the International Terminal will deliver similar results," said chief executive of African Medical Vivek Solanki. African Medical is hoping that the new operation will be helped by the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa, which is expected to provide an influx of visitors going through the airport. African Medical currently manages the Dar es Salaam Trauma Centre & Well Woman Clinic, The Airport Medical & Travel Vaccination Centres at Johannesburg International Airport and Cape Town International Airport and the Trauma Centre in Harare. The company also plans to open a boutique hospital in Maputo. This facility will replicate the flagship medical centre in Dar es Salaam, which benefits from a fully operational trauma centre with 30 beds including four Intensive Care Unit beds and two neonatal ICU incubators. African Medical is the parent company of VIP Healthcare Solutions Ltd which provides healthcare in niche areas, particularly to the expanding African middle classes and the expatriate, non-governmental organisations, diplomatic and tourist markets. | celeritas
06/4/2010 08:35 | certainly is ..... might as well be invisible though this stock at present. New broker needs to get a broker note out soon after some figures are produced | mattjos
06/4/2010 08:34 | As I have eluded to a few times, but nice to see it in print in the rns. We anticipate that the FIFA World Cup 2010 in June 2010 and subsequent influx of visitors going through the airport, will provide an excellent start to our operations." | celeritas
06/4/2010 08:23 | good news again this morning | kiwi10
30/3/2010 15:57 | African Management Services provides accountancy services to all 3 of Edmonds companies (Sable Mining, AMEI & Agriterra) ... must be overwhelmed counting all the $ :-) | mattjos
26/3/2010 13:10 | now that Harbinger have gone from 19% to 22% in sblm will their attention turn back to amei I wonder (i.e. up their stake here too?) nia dyor | andrbea
26/3/2010 08:15 | Slowly and I mean very slowly creeping up, should keep the traders away anyway. | celeritas
19/3/2010 09:19 | I'm going to wait for an opportunity to top up my holdings, say if there's a small pullback in the share price if not and the share price keeps going north then i'll be grateful with my current holding. | talon13 |
