Kisinka Copper-Cobalt Project - Operational Update

African Battery Metals plc (LON:ABM) the AIM listed battery metal exploration and development company is pleased to announce an update regarding exploration activities at the Company's Kisinka Copper-Cobalt project ("Kisinka" or the "Project") in the Democratic Republic of Congo ("DRC").

The recommencement of activities was announced by the company on 12 April 2019 and further information was provided via market announcement which can be viewed on the Company's website:

Highlights:

-- A field camp has now been established at the Company's Kisinka project to provide a base for field operations for 14 on site staff who are conducting or supporting field activities;

-- A total of 248 termite mound samples have been collected to date from the field and samples are being transferred to the operational office, from the field, to allow sample preparation and analysis;

-- The termite mound sampling programme is ongoing and additional samples will be collected during the coming weeks;

   --     Further reports to market will be provided as and when material developments occur.
