yes, id imagine there are a few here whom are invested in Gasol too goshawk...

I see the rns'd a new mgmt appointment too. and i see the chinese are looking for a foothold in Nigeria.

Thnings hotting up in this sector of the world. Russia has been ther place for thelast 7 years for making money in oil, but, watch out West Africa !! thenext place to invest, and its early days too.

Thanks BID. Thats the key - it works for you (I just wondered why you'd leave some cash lying around until the share price ticked up another 4p but it's a safer strategy you follow).

as the price increases and each trade executed shows a profit I am now convinced that the trade placed was the right decision - it serves to reinforce my confidence that im right instead of being wrong - thats my method of trading and it works for me more often than not

125p - nice magnet figure - round number

averaging up as previous trade enters profit (just) - if it's good enuf for livermore and lynch then it's good enuff for me

although afren are operating in one of the most prolific and prospective regions in the world the quality of the mgt at afren cannot be underestimated when it comes to looking for reasons to buy.

Reckon china are big on africa for resource targets - oil and metals

you have explorers and then you have producers who use cashflow to explore and expand even more - i see afren as such a company

This has been a belting share
As a shameless but not groundless plug, can I alert you guys to OEX
If you are not aware, it is a dual-listed ASX/AIM stock that is also on the verge of production, but also with rights to some huge potential fields and drill bit moving as we speak. Also many great contacts (like AFR) in the right places. Bruce McCarthy the CEO, effectively launched Cairn and this is his nest egg baby.
It has just re-entered its trading channel which, if you visit the ticker, is VERY convincing
I know of few of you AFRs are already in.....have a look. It doesn't need investors for price movement, I just feel it is such a screaming buy
122p close

yep. :-)

lookig good.

no real reason why afren shouldnt be trading at a minimum of 120p from hereon .... ie. i dont expect it to spiek down, or sell off..... there is seemingly lot of pi's buying, and good strength...

r3 today is 131p .... im hoping for 126.5p area....

ive been expectign 123.5 p for a few weeks now, all going as planned..

BID, what will you do with your cash between now and 125p? I don't follow why you'd wait if you believe it will go to 125.

thanks,
mikey
