04/1/2008 20:17 | What about soco (sia) they have done great, current £22 | dreggspicker
04/1/2008 20:13 | Just checked LOL, only cairn have made it to 1000p and above, VPC getting there at 807p, DGO going breakout mad at 391p, Tullow going well, JKX doing well. But all got one thing in common, very strong share price performance over last 4 years and show no real signs of stopping. AFR should follow similar lines if all goes well, but 1000p.......It'll be fun watching it i'll say that. | 5bag
04/1/2008 19:53 | I see your points surfer and katie, some good examples there. Dont get me wrong, I feel this will be on of my best investments and would love to hit 1000p in 3 years because I will probably still hold a chunk of AFR but I just dont wanna be dreaming of 1000p when weve just got over the 100p mark. Just happy with where its going at the mo and enjoying the rises :) fwiw think we will be at 200p+ this time next year, with more to go! | 5bag
04/1/2008 19:37 | VPC used to be approx 100p. JKX 20 or 30 p i think DGO 15p. Tullow 60p.........ect ect | surfer2
04/1/2008 19:33 | xmas 1998 cairn was 60p ????????? | katiegos
04/1/2008 19:03 | phew! 1000p/3yrs think im gonna faint! Need some very good acquisitions, with little dilution to hit that! But if they keep going the way they are, strategy wise, careful with money etc etc, can see 300p+ mid 2009 as realistic. | 5bag
04/1/2008 18:52 | y not :-) i hope so jonny !! | leeson31
04/1/2008 18:51 | THANKS FOR ALL THE GOOD POSTS TODAY LEESON31 MORE UPSIDE NEXT WEEK? | jammytass

04/1/2008 17:43 | p./s sorry for spelling typos, but i dont care. cheers | leeson31
04/1/2008 17:40 | Its now starting to motor after some dithering over previous years. Biggest gains are yet to come imo. People who have held these through difficult times should quite rightly feel very pleased for themselves. | 5bag
04/1/2008 17:25 | excellent day. wel doen to all holders. see you at 250p area in due course :-) remember, youve seen how quick this thing can rise, it shouldnt be too long before it does hit 150p area imho. VERY achievable Im sure you'll agree. | leeson31
04/1/2008 16:42 | very nice JB, perhaps with everyones profits from Afren we can all have a shopping spree and prop up the retail sector staving off any recession. | soupdragon55
04/1/2008 16:40 | Yes, Soup, a fantastic day, could have been even better if the rest of the market had behaved. Anyway celebrating by buying a Bose speaker system for my MacBook and a new TV. | jack brent
04/1/2008 16:37 | closed at 115p. What a nice day. Hope we have a few more like that. | soupdragon55
04/1/2008 16:11 | thanx soup hope you re right :) | siham44
04/1/2008 16:02 | siham, wait a few months, any dip now will be meaningless. I first bought in april 2006 when it was at its highs around 80p, then had to wait over a year to reach them again. Patience is generally rewarded. | soupdragon55 |
