27/9/2013 10:13 | nick I have a TDW trading account and SIPP and received corporate action notices from them re AFF yesterday. Nothing in there that required any action, and the only point they stressed was that the loan notes couldnt be held in an ISA. Will probably double check, but I would have thought a SIPP would have been mentioned if not allowed. | nav_mike
27/9/2013 08:36 | Interesting robrah. Wonder what a deal like that would do to imic. (And the notes).Has anybody confirmed if the loan notes are ok to be held in a SIPP. About to contact my provider but don't expect them to be very sure about this. | nickdr99
26/9/2013 16:35 | Short selling case in Canada hxxp://www.gotgoldre | franciso1
26/9/2013 14:58 | Pffff.....a deal like that will probably miraculously appear for Nkout once IMIC have got their paws on it. | nav_mike
26/9/2013 14:11 | Not good reading for what might have been! | brettmo
26/9/2013 08:10 | And this is I think lds sold us short here. This investment values ami at 7 quid | robrah
26/9/2013 07:56 | Has any seen ami rns this morning . Attracted a 2nd strategic partner . 20 mt of off take . 990m investment . Now is news worth rns . | robrah
26/9/2013 07:33 | Another IMIC non-AFF RNS out this morning, appointing a Will Smith as Hd Corporate Development and IR. Presumably Mr Smith was talent spotted at BOA ML by IMIC for his innovative approach to takeover financing. | gheebee
25/9/2013 08:52 | OT - Worth doing some DD on FRX, current market cap is around 15m GBP, their Gabon IO project looks very exciting 393m of drilling out of 3,000m has so far been received, the remainder of the drill results, as well as a maiden JORC are due soon. They have DSO on the project. | the count of monte_cristo
23/9/2013 18:16 | I look forward to our BoD announcing they will be giving back part of their salaries for the year, on the grounds they have done eff-all this year to benefit shareholders. Shall I hold my breath? | nav_mike
23/9/2013 18:01 | Do the comparison graphs have a offer of 145% of today's share price? Isn't it IMIC that made the offer. May be I am missing your point also please elaborate. | koolio
22/9/2013 16:55 | Can't see your point (but I'm assuming it's meant to be negative). Surely the mkt cap is more relevant in determining valuations than share price alone? | superslob
21/9/2013 22:16 | A pause for thought on valuations here. | noirua
19/9/2013 10:08 | The IMIC meeting was meant to be on or about the same day as the AFF meeting if the original agreement was an accurate report of their intentions. Perhaps now there are fewer family and friends holding shares in IMIC than there once were and now that the press in Guinea are beginning openly to speculate that IMIC/AIOG have been sidelined by the Guinea Government, doubts about the wisdom and affordability of a complete takeover of AFF have surfaced. Still, things are good enough for IMIC to announce another snout in the trough this morning I see. | gheebee
18/9/2013 16:01 | when is IMIC going to hold their shareholders' vote now.. | taffer87
17/9/2013 14:41 | Any guesses to what this will de-list @ ? my guess .... 95p | bsg
17/9/2013 08:55 | Kinda strange that people would wait until after the yes vote before selling... 5p now for potentially 46p in two years - seen worse punts :) | nav_mike
17/9/2013 08:41 | Aye - I guess why pay more when theres lots of frustrated shareholders who are looking for exits from resource shares.... Mind you, its made easier when you have a BoD who are willing to collude with the offeror and use the companys own money to buy itself :) | nav_mike
17/9/2013 08:27 | So anytime between now and 31 Oct...that's a bit of a ball ache. 97% was fairly decisive so I would expect some uplift in price from here now the deal is derisked. Low ball offers seem to be the order of the day. CEO got one today. | michaelwhight
17/9/2013 08:18 | mw Thats kind of what I was asking a few days ago....the consensus was that those who held shares on the day of delisting would get the loan notes. If the shares were "ex-entitlement" today the price would have to fall to reflect that I would think | nav_mike
17/9/2013 08:08 | So in order to qualify for those loan notes did we have to hold shares yesterday or are they still available? | michaelwhight
17/9/2013 08:03 | Sold out of this ages ago. Sad that sheer BoD greed will stuff shareholders. Oh well onwards to find something else. | tradermel |
