It seems to me the biggest driver in the AEX share price going forward will be are they able to keep to their time table of 15 months from now to first gold production and 19 months to commercial gold production. If at any time either of these two is significantly pushed back then I can see the AEX share price remaining stagnant.

cheers Goodgrief that ties in with comments on the ANGM thread but they went into the downturn carrying too much debt I believe from building the mine. I will see if I can find the earlier youtube presentations from AEXG, it all seems to rosey here I am worried lol.

In some of the earlier Youtube presentations by AEXG I've seen, the issue of why the earlier mine companies are explained. The point I took away was they were undone by the lack of finance during the downturn.

I had a look at the ANGM threads and assume the reason for failure was too much debt and bad management would I be correct? Death spiral finance doesnt usually have a good outcome. The grades did not correlate to what is now being quoted by AEGX either but they have drilled some more holes to find them so assume that covers that issue. Were there any other negatives to the project previously?

I had to go and get drunk on a Zoom call in the middle, missed AAZ as well, but this lot struck me as being interesting. I have read the brief presentation just now my thoughts are they are restarting an old mine as the high price of gold is making it viable and using the money to fund more exploration of what appears to be gold lying on the surface. They did a fund raise before the AIM listing so claims of having enough cash through that and production would seem reasonable whilst gold price is high. My only question is why is there an underground mine if the gold is so plentiful and of high quality near the surface and why nobody has spotted that before? Did he mention any reason for that?
Just going to watch the presentation no fast forward so have to go through the first two again.

Someone specifically asked and he said yes, that's the current plan / expectation. Must say, he came across very well. Fluent, covered a lot of ground, answered a lot of questions and is a pretty natural presenter.
