14/8/2017 09:44 | That seems to sum up the financial position very well. The company will run out of money well before they are up and running with their LIGHT system. Also,is the £24m investment agreement still applicable where of the £24m, £11M was receivable initially but would be repayable in Sept2017 if certain milestones had not been achieved by end of March 2017. I couldn't see any news about this, only news of delays. Is Sept therefore D-day to repay the £11m loan?? Maybe I have it wrong. | wi1l
13/8/2017 18:00 | The company cannot finance its day to day expenditures as it has no revenue. It cannot raise equity as the market has no confidence in AVO. Therefore AVO can only raise funds to pay wages from further loans. The loan of £3m (potentially £5m)from Blackfinch was only agreed by signing away Harley St.It is secured on that lease and "certain other equipment of the Company".Significant The Segula loan was only agreed because the lenders know that they will inherit the AVO intellectual property rights in the event of a default. Seems hard to see how further funding can be obtained and therefore the clock ticks towards liquidation and a pre pack by Segulah and friends. | twirl
13/8/2017 12:30 | The 2014 investor presentation put commercialisation three years from where AVO was then. That was roughly where AVO say they are now, with commercialisation three years from now. The main differences in 2014 were that AVO was in a much stronger financial position with more contracts and letters of intent than now. The share price was 400p. They also had the same bases in London, Geneva and Syracuse so nothing has changed there and we still don't know what, if anything, they are doing in Syracuse. | daijavu
12/8/2017 19:10 | Thanks, well I'm enjoying the ride, must admit if I lose the money I may not be so positive! At the moment yes, I'm confident. | mrtruth1
12/8/2017 18:11 | mr truth, Modus operandi | andy
12/8/2017 17:45 | mrtruth. There is nothing wrong with defending your position in any anything but that does not necessarily mean that it is in your interests to do so. I have read through the March investor day presentation and could see little there that I did not already know. The only new information was the revised schedule giving the proposed timetable for the development, production and installation of LIGHT in Harley Street and the halving of the number of machines that Thales was planning to produce each year. The rest was mostly ancient news that I was already very familiar with. I was not happy at the lack of a guarantee that they had enough finances to see the project through to installing the first machine in Harley Street. Their lack of a business plan to accomplish that minimal requirement was disappointing. There was nothing in the presentation to persuade me to put my hand in my pocket and buy AVO shares at this moment. I am keeping my eye on AVO in the hope it will eventually turn itself into a sound commercial proposition. | daijavu
12/8/2017 16:10 | And what's wrong with defending your position as a share holder?? It's in my interest! | mrtruth1
12/8/2017 16:09 | What's MO? | mrtruth1
12/8/2017 14:13 | mrtruth1, It's interesting you have gone from the "newbie investor that's thrown in a few thousand in a speculative buy" to the guy spending all day every day on the thread defending the company! The MO stands out a mile. | andy
12/8/2017 11:31 | Henchard why hold AVO shares if you feel this way??£! | mrtruth1
12/8/2017 10:11 | Well if they do need cash I'm convinced they'll get it. :-) | mrtruth1
12/8/2017 09:43 | Half glass full as ever!it was more likely someone selling at 18.05p (the buying seemed to be around the 18.30p mark). Will be very surprised if they don't need more cash for the completion of the project. | wi1l
11/8/2017 18:49 | Johnjohntaylor yes you can email and get replies (not always immediately!!) | mrtruth1
11/8/2017 18:46 | I hear what you're saying but I'm a believer (which one or two of you don't approve of!), and employing more people might be very positive to push this through to the very highest level/quality? Was there a big buy late today? | mrtruth1
11/8/2017 18:43 | mrtruth, Well I wish I had £1 for every time an AIM listed company made a statement like that! Anyway, we shall see in due course, they were burning through cash quickly until recently, and now they have employed more people! | andy
11/8/2017 18:42 | MrTruth, do the management of Advanced openly answer enquiries? A good sign if so. ATB. | johnjohntaylor
11/8/2017 18:35 | See this paragraph... try not to be too negative. "In addition, the directors have prepared trading and cash flow forecasts for the Group for the period to December 2019"... "Based on the forecasts the Directors believe that no further fundraising will be required in order to achieve its plan." | mrtruth1
11/8/2017 18:01 | mrtruth, Well I've been travelling. Please don;t try and get smug, everyone can see through you, you have clearly been sent here to try and add some positivity, and good luck with that. The principal question here is how are they going to finance through to profitability? As you seem to be well informed please answer that question. | andy
11/8/2017 16:18 | Perhaps I'm not just "guessing..." | mrtruth1
11/8/2017 12:18 | Andy, Deijavu, any thoughts on this week? Gone awfully quiet! | mrtruth1
11/8/2017 10:12 | MrTruth I tend to agree with you. This is all without news updates too. Top up time I think before this edges above 20p. IMO | johnjohntaylor
11/8/2017 09:54 | SP walked up on tiny volume bid 18p. can anyone sell in size for that price? | lw425
10/8/2017 15:36 | Steady as she goes until news arrives (whenever that may be!!). As each week goes I'm more and more confident of this hold. | mrtruth1 |
