There seems to be a lid on this? Why can't it push by 95/96? Are MM holding it back for some reason or is this share being controlled by supply and demand? I find it hard understanding or trying to figure out why a share can have such a tight range when there are plenty of trades happening within it?

Yes Fruit, I've had these for over 3 years paying about 40p. I had thought £1 would be history by now, but I have continued to hold because I have confidence in Vin. It is also included in the SCSW portfolio and their update in August after the results was very positive. So I hope to see £1 in the rear mirror soon. But I know nothing.

ASW are a great example on the importance of management. I've previously documented on this thread the extol I hold the partnership of Vin Murria and Barbara Firth & yet again they deliver.

As the link to Edison's update confirms, ASW now has an excellent recurring revenue model. 65% of revenue derived in this manner with excellent visibility for the next 2 years.

I fully expect strong cash generation and wouldn't be surprised to see EPS beat expectations as management have a history of under promising & over delivering.

With many tech peers on fanciful & frankly unsustainable ratings, I'll leave you with Buffet's oft quote,

Advanced Computer Software on course to hit targets

Advanced Computer Software (LON:ASW) is increasingly confident of hitting full-year targets after a strong first half showing.
Group revenue in the six months ended August 31 shot up 74% to £99.1mln from £56.8mln the year before, thanks in the main to first time contributions from recent acquisitions.
That being said, organic revenue growth was an inflation-beating 8% when the results of the March acquisition of Computer Software Holdings (CSH) are excluded, and was 5% with CSH included.

Having topped out at 97p in mid-June, the share price of the acquisitive software and information technology services provider has mostly been range-bound between 80p and 90p.

Really like those results. Have updated my DCF model and have 12 month target here of 117p. Factoring in net debt and future capex requirements.

Certainly a Buy/Strong Hold in my book... although that's my own research, so obviously full of my own assumptions!
