Dividend Announcement 
 
The Directors of Acorn Income Fund Limited ("Acorn") are pleased to note that 
Acorn's portfolio of UK smaller companies continues to deliver earnings and 
dividend growth at a time when earnings forecasts and dividend expectations for 
many larger UK companies are being scaled back.  Consideration of Acorn's 
revenue projections has enabled the Directors to declare a substantial increase 
in the second interim dividend. 
 
The Directors have declared a second interim dividend of 4.0 pence per Ordinary 
Share for the year ending 31 December 2016, which represents an increase of 
14.3% compared to the corresponding dividend for the year ended 31 December 
2015:

Record Date                       17 June 2016 
 
Payment Date                   28 June 2016 
 
Dividend per Share         4.0 pence per Ordinary Share (Sterling) 
 
Acorn pays quarterly interim dividends and its practice in recent years has 
been to at least maintain the level of dividends each quarter.  If this pattern 
of dividend payments is maintained, the prospective yield on Acorn's ordinary 
shares is 4.4% based on the current mid-market price of 366 pence.
