the new broker will have the most fical acumen

david will have ex-colleagues there(chums)

coincidentally folk in Eastbourne were discussing LEG

Its up to the administrators Brian, could be quick or it could be a long time, depending on whether they see any fraud.

What will be interesting is that now LEG have to get a new broker, what valuation will they place on LEG in comparison to Beaufort.

boofats closed by the FCA for being involved in financial crime.

I wonder if the companies they were involved with will be investigated too.

Beauforts provide a sharedealing and ISA service, they didn't own the shares for their own purposes. Its nominee accounts in the same way Hargreaves do.

The shares will be transferred to another nominee company on behalf of the clients.

At present their actions are suspended and cannot act on any client instructions, so there are no sells from anyone who use Beauforts.

Think Beauforts going to the wall as a positive, their valuations even of LEG were laughable, more importantly their large shareholding here, a nice means to get hold of 7.2% of VS, think LEG might be in takeover mode.
