Indeed which is why LEG maybe increasing their stake ahead of rig delivery news. Note, the top four shareholders in AMED hold 81% of the shares, so when news arrives, the share price will move incredibly quickly.

FYI here is a Beaufort pdf highlighting LEG's investment in AMED, although you can look at the official RNS dated 28/1/13.

As stated earlier, there is no requirement for LEG to notify the market until > 3%. However, I always think it desirable to keep shareholders informed where their money is being invested.

Thanks for that howdlep. From your figures then, we are holding our AMED shares currently at a loss, but that may not necessarily always be the case.

We are due an RNS soon in any case, because our other holdings haven't reported anything for some time, and we are due updates from VS in any case.

It is interesting about the £32,000 paid to someone for the warrants and then very quickly £32,000 worth of Amedeo resources bought at above the ask - nudge nudge wink wink.

-----

Further to the above post:-

It is interesting to note that Legendary Investments (LEG) purchased 19,230,769 shares in Creon Resources PLC (now Amedeo Resources) on 28 January 2013, for a sum of £125k (0.7%). This equates to 192,307 shares, post AMED's 100:1 consolidation.

On 28 April 2017, LEG notified the market that 32,272,727 warrants had been exercised by certain individuals, raising £32,727 for the company.

What is interesting, is that on 10 May 2017, 119,693 AMED shares were bought @ 26.5p each, for a total consideration of £31,718. This was circa a 15% premium to the then share price in AMED.

Now Zafar Karim is the Executive Chairman of Legendary Investments and an Executive Director of Amedeo Resources.

So are LEG stake building in AMED ahead of rig delivery news, or is this just a coincidence?

If so, one would expect an RNS from LEG confirming the purchase of AMED shares shortly. However, as their interest would not be notifiable (ie greater than 3%), there is no need for a disclosure RNS.

Either way, the premium purchase is a very clear indication of confidence in the future direction of Amedeo Resources.

I have a considerable holding in AMED.

It might be of interest if this were the Greatland Gold thread, but it's LEG.

So, it's of no interest at all.

Good stuff pet lover. This will only pave the way for "The Edge" to be implemented sooner rather than later. The pressure is more acute on the NHS now to save money, and the quicker it's rolled out the better for all concerned.

Thanks for the info.

See the mm's dropped the offer to 0.19p and bought in some buyers. I still have a strong gut feeling we are pretty near a positive announcement.

Just interrupting my break in a very rainy Galway for a moment.

I think the cyber attack yesterday was ironically bullish for VS, and therefore LEG. It's now obvious that a lot of NHS trusts are using outdated operating systems, such as Windows 98 and Windows XP, which is why they were vulnerable to attack.

They will now have to upgrade their systems to the newest possible at yet more expense, This will mean an even bigger strain on the NHS and make it more imperative to save money at every juncture.

Obviously VS are using the most modern systems, so I would imagine that this episode has taught the NHS a lesson, and the implementation of "The Edge" will now gain more priority and it will be up and running sooner than we first thought.

Off to the local now for a few pints of the black stuff.

Well, it took 12 sales totalling over 6m to finally tick the share price down.

But, no big deal. The impatient will continue to sell, the patient will continue to accumulate, and the patient will win out in the end.

I hesitate to mention it, because usually once said, then it all goes wrong.

But, so far, the MM's are holding the bid despite 3.5m of sales.

A large buy order being worked in the background maybe, and reported late?
