Next session of the Alaska State Legislator is 21st of Jan 2020 (2nd Regular Session)



Courts have been requested to give a verdict of the tax rebate issue by then. If that happens and its positive, then its a net 5m US$ into the bank for 88E (Rebates circa 20m US$ and yet to be paid is circa 15m US$).

So thats another potential news on the horizon.

Would be good to get the Final Permit to Drill and Ops update next week, then tax rebate news the week after.

Keep the news flowing into February.

Interesting article on Ice Roads from 2018.




To note here, 2020 is much colder, even than 2019 and much more so than 2018 for when the article above was written. With it being even colder than 2019, there should be no concerns on the Ice Road being complete in time - maybe even ahead of schedule this year ?

Trouble is 88E is SETSqx - which means its MM's in charge of the price.

Thats why generally I will always place an order through my broker, give them an amount of stock I want at the price I want and let them fill the order.

If you deal purely online you can get ripped by the MM's.

Its also to do with spread betting - spread betting takes the advertised bid and offer prices.

So you might see:

Bid price 1.4
Offer price 1.45

But actually sell price is 1.41 and buy price is 1.42.

The advertised spread on SETSqx stocks is controlled by the MM's and often is kept advertised wide open due to spread betting companies.

I never spread bet - only buy real stock and real prices. Spread betting is a mugs game.

I think the PR will commence when the final go ahead to drill permit is released. Should be next week or the week after latest.

That will be the key event and then its a simple countdown to spud.

Many people will be unaware that this drill 88E is the operator and 88E are listed on the ASX market as well as AIM.

As operator on the ASX market they have to RNS all market sensitive news immediately. There will not be a simple spud RNS and wait for then a results RNS.

Every target they go into, where they strike oil, there will be an RNS about it.....so there maybe a period of 2 weeks post spud with no news, but then it should come in thick and fast as each target is entered and hopefully, some oil is seen with LWD.

MMS keep increasing the bid so that's good. Maybe the final permit to drill news on Monday. Hopefully that will be the catalyst for Dave to get the PR ball rolling. Disgusting how quiet they have been up to now, one of, if not THE biggest drill of 2020 and hardly anybody but us shareholders are being made aware of it up until now.

Yes......the spring is getting coiled - lots of new holders in at 1.3p to 1.45p levels........this will build and build as the profit takers from lower prices sell out and their sells are bought by new holders and then - the coiled spring will unleash and the share price will move fast upwards to test 2p.

Just a matter of time, patience is as ever the key.
