29/3/2018 16:39 | Just looked at calendar so agree XD not helping. CD | cambridgedon
29/3/2018 16:33 | I think that it goes XD on 3rd April. The fall today is probably caused by Berenberg downgrading and reducing price from 2000p to 1400. Seems a massive drop given the results, but I haven't read their report so don't know the logic. CD | cambridgedon
29/3/2018 16:25 | xd 71.95p today, partial explanation to the fall. | geoff21
29/3/2018 16:18 | that's some retracement over the past week or so, must be a large overhang to clear | jon123
07/3/2018 16:15 | Fantastic results. The plan to test more aggressive advertising makes perfect sense, there is so much upside to go for and so little competition that the only question is how fast can they accelerate the growth. I like the target of achieving $1bn in sales within a few years (irrespective of the advertising test), if the test is successful, they could achieve this in a much faster time frame. | toon army
07/3/2018 10:39 | Walmart moves into promo space Killing it | lucicavi
07/3/2018 10:31 | Price drop a buying opportunity IMO. Company still "stealing" market share (revenue growth of 12% cf 3% for the market). Operating profit expected to be flat for 2018 owing to the investment in new approaches to marketing. Cashflow and conversion rate still strong. At £19 the May dividend of 71.95p represents a yield of 3.7%. Total dividend for the year of 83.75p is 4.5%. The expected lower tax rate next year leaves room for further supplementary dividends. Have stated no medium-term plans for merger/acquisition All in all very robust numbers. All the best | snadgey
07/3/2018 07:37 | i really do think its a takeover waiting to happen the amount of cash it throws off each yr, the pension is sorted out whats not to like | jon123
07/3/2018 07:27 | Very good results. The cash keeps on flowing. Looks like interesting times ahead! All the best. | snadgey
07/3/2018 07:23 | another excellent performance again | jon123
06/2/2018 21:45 | Snadgey and Toon Army, I agree. I've been looking at various competitors and even a few minnows, my conclusion is FOUR are so far ahead that its highly unlikely they are in any danger of losing any market share. The rest of the companies in the space are fighting over crumbs and struggling with the digitisation of the industry. FOUR have raced ahead because they have transitioned seamlessly. The correction was a great opportunity to buy in or load up. | oldmoneyjack
27/1/2018 15:01 | Little snippet in IC suggesting slowing market for advertising via promotional products such as those offered by FOUR. IMO the sheer size of the market FOUR serves still leaves room for growth for some time. | snadgey
17/1/2018 16:12 | I believe that FOUR is about 10x bigger than the next biggest player and therefore has massive scale advantages on the buying side and similarly on the marketing side. It's market share is under 3% and so no reason why, over time it shouldn't capture a huge market share, and that is in a market that is growing steadily. | toon army
17/1/2018 16:02 | To you also. | stephen1946
17/1/2018 16:01 | It is already known that FOUR operate in a very fragmented sector with many credible competitors. However, for years FOUR has gained market share even in a downturn. It is this huge and highly fragmented market that the opportunity lies for FOUR to become dominant. It is already the biggest player. A very happy long term holder. All the best. | snadgey
17/1/2018 15:29 | All very nice but no mention of any credible competition, as i said previously, todays trading statement was very timid, there is a mute, BUT, there. we will see what transpires, long term. | stephen1946
17/1/2018 14:11 | Edison Research note out today. All the best | snadgey
17/1/2018 12:58 | Stephen, just leave us alone to wallow in our misfortune. | snadgey

17/1/2018 08:16 | The market seem to agree with you all. NOT! | stephen1946
17/1/2018 08:05 | Looking forward to March 2018 as I have done for every March since I've held shares in this well run company. | snadgey |
