22/7/2011 08:50 | a number of posters hopefully helped some to think twice, ...but they dont need to fuel their own ego and keep going on about it! if you cant see how inappropriate your comment of saying that you are glad people have lost their money is, then you lack insight | mavverick
22/7/2011 08:34 | I should be thanked for hopefully making some think twice here. It's some of the pernicious ramping that was on display that turned out to be totally inappropriate and heartless - as some others may have be drawn in. I said Sell close to £1, and suggested holders may want to look instead at Nestor Healthcare, which was booming due to the trend towards care at home - taken over a few weeks later at a fat premium - while SCHE ends up suspended. Many did not want to listen, now the message is louder than bombs. Hope your sleeping improves. | essentialinvestor
22/7/2011 06:33 | lol, that was my kitten jumping on the laptop. | essentialinvestor

22/7/2011 06:09 | aspers, not sure the FSA can help when high risk/reward trades do not pay, aware you have also had some big wins. That strategy does work for some, you need to be very astute to consistently beat the odds in that way imv, good luck. | essentialinvestor
22/7/2011 01:56 | ei context entirely irrelevant to that statement. | mavverick
21/7/2011 14:28 | Essential...Lets just see what the FSA make of all this in the near future!! | aspers
21/7/2011 14:17 | Nicely taken out of conntext mav, read what proceeded that comment. Sums up the general lack of insight imv. | essentialinvestor
21/7/2011 13:52 | boffster 8463 i think thats right | mavverick
21/7/2011 13:50 | i posted because i was concerned where SC was heading for the last 2 years. Not a shareholder, nor a shorter, but decided to give a different view/balance. | mavverick
21/7/2011 13:47 | ei.... 'I am glad you have lost your investment.' anyone who posts like the above needs to think again | mavverick
21/7/2011 13:10 | Wise long before the event aspers - try 18 months, and repeated that view frequently. Some here should be hanging their heads in shame at their misreading of prospects imv. | essentialinvestor
21/7/2011 13:01 | Essential...yes some folk are wise after the event....now please toddle off old boy and impart your wealth of experience elsewhere!! | aspers
21/7/2011 12:27 | Nope, sound reasoning imv. mav, I showed my Dad some of your postings, needless to say he was astounded by your sector insight and understanding - and that is irony. Dull and lecturing?? - you might want to read back some of your lenghty posts here, good luck. | essentialinvestor
21/7/2011 12:12 | another dull lecturing self righteous post | mavverick
21/7/2011 10:59 | If you keep chasing ambulances, eventually you'll end up in casualty - worth keeping in mind when investing your own money. | essentialinvestor
21/7/2011 10:50 | Personally I think our hope here lies with the other 1/3 of properties which don't have a single big landlord. These will find it a lot harder I would imagine to bring in other operators. | boffster
19/7/2011 12:51 | he will have been handsomely rewarded via salary!! The directors of this business should be going to prison as they have clearly misinformed there shareholders all along ever since the stupid concept of selling all the homes. why did they not start to renegotiate rents before they were already dead? | warwick69
19/7/2011 07:31 | not lookinmg good if NHP going else where there will be no one left to support any rescue. Still dont understand how any other company taking on the residents are going to be able to make any money unless they also get fees up and rents down. If thats the case why the hell dont Southern Cross do that and we shareholders would still be in the picture. This alll stinks to me why will all the management and staff swim over to new company and all shareholders left with nowt? | warwick69 |
