12/4/2011 08:30 | selkirk69 on balance the news is positive in that they are clearly actively pursing a long term viable plan...presumably that goes far beyond just a rent rebate! | mavverick
12/4/2011 08:19 | Mav That's what I thought, read some of his other posts and it'll become clear. Although it's up 12% and now in auction. | selkirk69

12/4/2011 07:47 | Interesting post 7654 relays one message saying LL won't play ball then 7666 relays a differnet story saying they're about to start, bloody press dramatising yet again looking for a story. Facts remain as per the RNS this morning, talks to begin and a bit of a re shuffle of the board which would account for the volitility yesterday no doubt. | selkirk69
12/4/2011 07:46 | dealy - you still seem amazingly positive! What price at open 7p? | targatarga
12/4/2011 07:26 | it's all down to the landlords. Like the use of the term "constructive". If they play ball this will fly. | dealy
11/4/2011 13:32 | thanks boffster .... 'start' of talks | mavverick
11/4/2011 10:26 | Southern Cross own a property in Doune, Perthshire which they bought a couple of years ago. They closed it about 12 months ago due I understand to the costs of refurbishing to new standards ( ensuite bathrooms etc.).They have had it on the market since , no takers in spite of substantial reduction on original asking price according to a property developer I know who has looked into it. Should serve as a warning to other landlords. Driving past the other day I notice the agents board outside has been taken down. Sold or withdrawn from the market whilst they review stategy ? par | par555

11/4/2011 08:40 | 31,000 residents out on the street...!!! I think not, a deal with the Government will be done this week...talk of administration is not even an option when it comes to care of the elderly!! | aspers
10/4/2011 15:57 | nothing that new but that "administration" word used again aint going to intice new investors! | johncraven
10/4/2011 15:56 | What a pointless article, completely at odds with the conference call Buchanan (alledgedly) made last week to managers of homes saying discussions with landlords pogressing well. | matt19 |
