To me by BoD back in Jan:

"There is a specific deal that has been put in front of us - it appears an attractive proposition but clearly one cannot take it forward until the shell transaction is complete".

The shell transaction was indeed completed at the time of the Feb placing when money was returned to previous investors and this turned into a completely clean shell. And now we simply await the RTO (was also mentioned to me that it's an RTO here rather than investment)

Only because the total number of issues shares increased due to the placing, which meant his holding was no longer above 3%. He hasn't sold and that's why there no mention of a director deal. A specific RTO target was indeed put to the board and is currently in process. I'm hopeful that it's European Lithium. REM has already demonstrated the positive market reaction to Lithium plays, and the chance to get in at the ground level (and particularly before the herd) is compelling.

Update on investment in 3Legs Resources plc

The Board of Vela (AIM: VELA), the investing company focused on early stage and pre-IPO technology investments, announces that, further to the announcement released by the Company on 10 March 2015, the Company acquired a further 1,500,000 existing ordinary shares in 3Legs Resources plc ("3Legs") (AIM: 3LEG) on 25 March 2015 at a price of 0.21 pence per share.

Vela's resultant holding in 3Legs is 19,000,000 shares representing 4.41% of the total voting rights of 3Legs.

Not strictly true. I can sell placing shares if I wish and most folk purposely aren't made insiders. Fact is I'm buying at the moment anyway and most placees wouldn't have sold since they're looking for a far stronger return, so the float is still quite tight. Whether EL or something else, a good deal is only a matter of time here. Completely clean cash shell with an offshore Isle of Man base has to be highly attractive to many prospective companies looking to RTO.

PR and PIRI do hold a stake here

PR is the investment adviser....

so IF there is an rto coming its likely to come via PIRI and PR.....

however cant validate the above

I appreciate your reply and information,can i just ask one further question
on this subject.When you said discussions with other companies does that
include 3legs Resources or Armstrong Ventures?

Hello Grant,

I can confirm that 3legs Resources are one of those companies but not
Armstrong Ventures.We will be putting out a full press release before
the 3rd of april which will be comprehensive and detailed.

reply from him.He has confirmed that they have been in discussions with
Pires!

I have been interested in your company for some time and was hoping to become one of your shareholders.You were due to IPO in late 2014 early 2015 but there seems little news on this lately.Can you tell me what is the latest news on this is? and also there have been rumours that you have been in discussions with Pires Investments Plc regarding a deal,Is there any truth to that?

Firstly thankyou for your communication,both me and other directors are very
excited about the future of European Lithium and what we believe is a world
class resource we have in our asset base.The IPO originally planned for late
in 2014 was delayed and we missed our slot at that time.Since then we have
been looking at a number of additional options on how we can get to market
and hope to release a press statement before the 3rd of april.I can confirm
that we have been in discussions with Pires Investments and other companies
but i cannot at this stage reveal any more until our press release.

Worth taking a look at Vela Technologies (VELA LN) as I hear sum of parts equates to approx 0.5p and it is currently trading at 0.2p. Vela has just raised £300k at 0.15p and quickly made this investment into 3Legs; I think something going on here.

From the Vela Rns today:-

" The board of Vela believe that the investment in 3Legs offers Vela an opportunity to invest at an attractive price in advance of 3Legs embarking on its investment policy."


No commercial enterprise would embark on a 'blind' investment and coupled with the statement above, in my opinion, translates as 'we know what 3Legs are about to invest in and we expect a significant uplift in the share price because of it'.
