18/2/2016 10:20 | Yes an amazing disparity between the business performance and the share price | shanklin
16/2/2016 09:26 | The share price is lower than it was 12 months ago and profits are up 50% which seems a tad harsh! I like the business but keep feeling that I am passing up other opportunities while I watch the share price drop here. | salpara111
15/2/2016 22:18 | It is disappointing that the share price did not break out in reaction to the results. I doubt that there is anything company-specific to worry about. There was nothing wrong with the results, and taking a 12 month view the shares have outperformed the market quite well. Just need to have a bit of patience. At some stage the market will re-rate these and then they will go a long way. | kannerwas
15/2/2016 13:06 | Very disappointing share price reaction to results, I am back to nearly b/e again and not willing to hold while it continues to drop. I cannot see any good reason for the drop which I find especially unnerving. | salpara111
11/2/2016 15:04 | 1PM will be presenting at our growth company seminar in Altrincham near Manchester on the 23rd February, investors and potential shareholders all welcome: | sharesoc
04/2/2016 13:04 | If any of you live near Manchester then this event would be an ideal opportunity to meet the directors and see a presentation... | davidosh
26/1/2016 13:39 | From Stockopedia, for the last three years H2 has been stronger than H1 in both revenue and PBT. | shanklin
26/1/2016 13:36 | darlocst Fair point, not quite sure how I missed that. I will remove the relevant part of my earlier post. Apologies, Martin | shanklin
26/1/2016 13:13 | Thanks Shanklin, I see the 2016 4.9p EPS & 2017 6.3p EPS on Stockopedia - looks like there was an upgrade in December sometime so not changed today. | darlocst
26/1/2016 12:49 | The quiet H2 comment in the broker note surprised me, as from my reckoning H2 has been stronger than H1 in the past two years. | gdjs100
26/1/2016 12:07 | davidosh Thank you Cheers, Martin | shanklin
26/1/2016 11:13 | Those WHI estimates are quite stunning in terms of percentage increase in Rev./PBT | owenski
26/1/2016 10:47 | So no upgrades today then? | darlocst
26/1/2016 10:46 | Forecasts from WHI.... Y/E May.. 2014A 2015A 2016E 2017E Revenue (£m) 4.2 5.5 12.1 16.0 WHI PTP (£m) 1.3 1.6 3.0 4.2 EPS..... (p) 3.5 3.7 4.9 6.3 | davidosh
26/1/2016 10:37 | davidosh Is that from WH Ireland ? If so, what are their current forecasts for this year and next please? Thank you, Martin P.S. REFS, Stockopedia etc do not show a £3m PBT forecast, which is unfortunate. | shanklin
26/1/2016 10:34 | Excellent results and only three months of Academy in these interims. The brokers are leaving plenty of room for upgrades which is the best way to go... Price target increased to 87p from 78p Comment from WHI broker this morning... Today’s interims are robust, confirming December’s update which noted that trading was ahead of management expectations. Although these figures include a three month contribution from the Academy Leasing acquisition, organic growth was very strong with revenue at existing 1PM up 48% and PBT up 52%, driven by business loans. Having reintroduced forecasts last month, we make no changes today: whilst the £1.75m adjusted H1 PBT outcome represents over half of our £3.0m full year expectation, it should be remembered that H2 is traditionally the quieter period plus additional costs relating to a new IT system will be incurred. 1PM’s strong and growing position in the SME finance market together with conservatively set forecasts leads us to believe a 12-month forward P/E of 15x to be appropriate – pointing to our revised 87p price target this morning. | davidosh
26/1/2016 09:10 | thanks Owenski,I have little sense of how vital she was other than ,I believe, she was a founding member [or how much her departure is a surprise]. | maiken
26/1/2016 08:57 | Maria obviously was a very competent exec, but may not be the architect behind the recent plans to grow via selected acquisitions, I dont see her departure as a problem or of anything untoward. I'm just talking out loud here, but she is recently married and may be wishing to start a family, she still has her foot in the door at OPM as a consultant. Just an opinion. | owenski
26/1/2016 08:18 | Pretty stunning results with profits up over 50%, assuming the second half is as strong they will be trading on a p/e of about 11 which is pretty undemanding for such quality growth. The spread has always annoyed me here so I wont add to my holding but equally I wont be selling any below about 85p | salpara111
26/1/2016 07:56 | Mmm, think I am more interested in the growth which seems well above the current broker forecasts. It will be interesting to see the extent to which they are revised. All IMHO. | shanklin
26/1/2016 07:32 | Davidosh, I'd appreciate your thoughts on the departure of COO Maria Lewis. | maiken
04/1/2016 00:16 | OPM are positively mentioned in this audiocast and I cover the year behind us and stocks to consider for the year ahead... | davidosh
18/12/2015 10:48 | Thank you kannerwas | shanklin
18/12/2015 10:34 | WH Ireland are now forecasting 4.9 eps y/e Mar 16, 6.3p y/e Mar 17. Prospective P/E falls to 11 for y/e Mar 17, for a company growing eps at 30% per year. Given today's TU I'd say these forecasts are on the cautious side anyway. | kannerwas
18/12/2015 09:07 | Patience being rewarded here. Will be a quid at some point. | stegrego |
