Triunfo Announces its Operational Data

 

 

SAO PAULO, Oct. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. (BM&FBovespa: TPIS3, ADR: TPIUY, Bloomberg: TPIS3 BZ), a leading Brazilian infrastructure company, hereby announces its preliminary operational data in nine months of 2014 (9M14).

HIGHLIGHTS – 9M14

• In the first nine months of 2014, our highway concessions registered traffic of 64.9 million vehicle-equivalents, which represents an increase of 2.6% from the same period of 2013. The individual performance in the same period of our concessionaries Concer, Concepa and Econorte was traffic growth of 0.6%, 6.9% and -0.8%, respectively.
• In the first nine months of 2014, container handling grew 0.6% from the same period in 2013 to reach 524,629 TEUs. In September, Portonave reversed the negative performance observed in the year to August. During the month, the terminal handled 65,069 TEUs, or 22.5% more than in September 2013.
• The physical guarantee sold by Rio Verde to Votener amounted to 444,293 MWh in the first nine months of 2014 and 48,816 MWh in September. At Rio Canoas, the physical guarantee sold amounted to 329,336 MWh in the year to date and 28,047 MWh in September.
• In the nine-month period, Viracopos Airport registered 97,900 aircraft carrying 7,315,000 passengers and 166,100 tons of cargo.
