Triunfo Announces its Operational Data

SAO PAULO, July 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. (BM&FBovespa: TPIS3, ADR: TPIUY, Bloomberg: TPIS3 BZ), a leading Brazilian infrastructure company, hereby announces its preliminary operational data in six months of 2014 (6M14).

HIGHLIGHTS – 6M14

• Regarding traffic, in six months of 2014, our highway concessions registered a 5.0% increase in traffic volume in relation to 2013, reaching 44.0 million equivalent vehicles. Individually, our concessionaires Concer, Concepa and Econorte, recorded year-on-year growth of 5.0%, 6.9% and 0.4%, respectively, in the volume of equivalent vehicles.
• Total container handled volume in 2014 was 329,327 TEUs, a decrease of 1.3% over 2013. It is worth mentioning that the rains in June, affected the port operation, which was closed for nine days.
• The physical guarantee sold by Rio Verde to Votener totaled 294,591 MWh accumulated in 2014 and 48,816 MWh in June. The Physical guarantee sold by Rio Canoas totaled  248,231 MWh accumulated in 2014 and 24,768 MWh in June. It is worth mentioning that in June the assured energy of Rio Canoas was lower, due to the effect of the anticipated sale in the 1Q14.
• As for the Viracopos Airport, 64,094 aircraft, carrying 4.7 million passengers and 109,524 tons of cargo, passed through the airport in 2014.
