Triunfo Announces its Operational Data

SAO PAULO, May 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos S.A. ((BM&FBOVESPA: TPIS3, OTC: TPIUY)), a leading Brazilian infrastructure company, hereby announces its preliminary operational data in four months of 2014 (4M14).

HIGHLIGHTS – 4M14

• Regarding traffic, in four months of 2014, our highway concessions registered a 5.8% increase in traffic volume in relation to 2013, reaching 30.3 million equivalent vehicles. Individually, our concessionaires Concer, Concepa and Econorte, recorded year-on-year growth of 5.5%, 8.0% and 0.5%, respectively, in the volume of equivalent vehicles.
• Total container handled volume in four months of 2014 was 221,730 TEUs, an increase of 7.5% over 2013.
• The physical guarantee sold by Rio Verde to Votener totaled 195,332 MWh  accumulated in 2014 and 48,816 MWh in April. The Physical guarantee sold by Rio Canoas totaled 197,869 MWh accumulated in 2014 and 18,291 MWh in April. It is worth mentioning that in April the assured energy of Rio Canoas was lower, due to the effect of the anticipated sale in the 1Q14.
• As for the Viracopos Airport, 43,014 aircraft, carrying 3.2 million passengers and 70,784 tons of cargo, passed through the airport in four months of 2014.
