Bradespar Announces R$ 863.7 Million Net Income in the 9M07

SAO PAOLO, Brazil, Nov. 13  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bradespar released, on November 12, 2007, its 3Q07 results:

  Highlights

   * The net income results of R$232.1 million in the 3Q07 and R$863.7
     million in the first nine months of the year (9M07) were all-time highs
     for the company in the respective periods.
   * The discount between Bradespar's net asset value and its market
     capitalization, which stood at 15% at yearend 2006, narrowed to 3% by
     the close of the 3Q07.
   * Average daily trading volume in Bradespar preferred stock (BRAP4) has
     posted steady improvement, rising to R$59.0 million in the 3Q07, the
     company's highest daily average ever in any quarter.
