PARIS--Vincent Bollore, the chairman of French advertising group Havas SA (HAV.FR), has notified shareholders that he will nominate his son to replace him at the next board meeting.
Mr. Bollore made the comments at a meeting with shareholders Wednesday, the group said in a statement Thursday. The group didn't say exactly when the change would occur. His son Yannick Bollore is already vice chairman of Havas.
The elder Bollore is also chairman and chief executive officer of Bollore (BOL.FR). Late last year he joined the board of French conglomerate Vivendi SA (VIV.FR).
