French telecom-to-entertainment group Vivendi SA (VIV.FR) Thursday said it has completed the acquisition of the 44% stake in French telecom operator SFR it didn't already own from Vodafone Group PLC (VOD).
In a statement, Vivendi said it bought the stake for EUR7.95 billion and that SFR and Vodafone will extend their commercial cooperation for a further three years, in line with the terms of the deal announced earlier this year.
Vivendi now owns SFR outright.
