Norwegian seabed-to-surface engineering contractor Subsea 7 S.A. (SUBC.OS) said Wednesday it has ordered a new heavy construction vessel which will be delivered in 2016.
MAIN FACTS:
-The new vessel will be deployed globally to meet increasing market demands for executing ever-larger and more complex projects.
-Hyundai Heavy Industries Co Ltd (009540.SE) will build the new vessel.
-The main crane and the vertical lay system will be provided by Huisman.
-Shares closed Tuesday at NOK127.80, valuing the company at NOK44.96 billion.
