SSE PLC (SSE.LN) and Equinor ASA's (EQNR.OS) wind-power joint venture Dogger Bank Wind Farms has been awarded contracts totaling 3,600 megawatts in a U.K. allocation round, the U.K. utility company said Friday.
FTSE 100-listed SSE said three projects will receive guaranteed remuneration for 15 years. SSE and its Norwegian partner will now progress toward a final investment decision for the Dogger Bank projects by late 2020, the U.K. company said.
SSE said its renewables arm will lead the development and construction phases of the Dogger Bank Wind Farm projects and Equinor will lead on operations.
