Greencoat UK Wind PLC (UKW.LN) said Friday that it will raise up to 131 million pounds ($171.9 million) through a share placing to help fund its acquisition of a 49.9% stake in the Stronelairg and Dunmaglass wind farms from SSE PLC (SSE.LN).
The company said it will place up to 102.9 million shares at a price of 127 pence a share, representing a 5% discount on the closing price of 133.80 pence on Thursday.
Shares at 1008 GMT were down 1.5% at 131.80 pence.
