Siemens AG has booked an order to supply equipment to a power plant in Belarus, it said Tuesday.
The German company got the order, of which it didn't disclose the value, from state-run energy provider RUE Minskenergo.
It will supply six SGT-800 industrial gas turbines, which will "increase the grid's reliability and flexibility and support the transition to a new energy mix in Belarus," Siemens said. Commissioning is scheduled for December 2021.
