MAIN FACTS:
- EMICS, formally known as East Midland Inspection & Calibration Service, is a leading independent UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) calibration laboratory.
- It complements the SGS Oil, Gas and Chemicals Services' offering in the M&I (Measurement and Instrumentation) services.
- EMICS serves the Rail, Marine, Aerospace, Nuclear and Automotive industries.
- Founded in 1990 and privately owned, EMICS employs 43 staff and is expected to generate 2012 Revenues of GBP2.8 million.
