1610 GMT Zurich stocks close 1.1% higher at 9510.78 with all blue-chips on the SMI, making gains on increased optimism about a Greek bailout being secured. In a broad-based upward swing, Zurich Insurance Group AG adds 1.6%. Also rising is biotech company Actelion Ltd., 1.6% up, while private bank Julius Baer Group AG adds 1.6%. Among the laggards are Swisscom AG and SGS, both gaining 0.2%. Staffing company Adecco SA, which is due to report its second-quarter earnings on Tuesday, gains 0.6%. (john.revill@wsj.com)
