Fastweb SpA's (FWB.MI) board has accepted an offer from Swisscom AG (SCMN.VX), parent of the Italian telecommunications operator, to buy the remaining shares not already owned by Fastweb, according to a statement Monday.
The board decided to accept the offer to buy the remaining 17.918% of Fastweb at EUR18 a share at a meeting held earlier in the day, the statement said.
