Rathbone Brothers PLC (RAT.LN), which provides personalised investment and wealth management services for private investors, charities and trustees, said Thursday it is in discussions with Lloyds Banking Group PLC (LLOY.LN) to buy certain assets relating to non core private client discretionary investment management activities within its Wealth and International Division, principally the Bank of Scotland Portfolio Management Service.
