Prom Resources, Inc. (PRMO) Announces the Appointment of Mr. Shyam Vasnani as Chief Operating Officer and Director

  Prom Resources, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PRMO) ("the
Company) is pleased to announce that Mr. Shyam Vasnani has been appointed
as a director and the company's Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Shyam Vasnani joined the company during the last quarter of 2008 and his exceptional efforts to streamline operations not only in Ghana but throughout the region is allowing the company to take a more aggressive yet organized approach to its operations.

His positions in the past at Victory Mining, Madagascar, as well as his recent positions in Nigeria and Liberia, combined with the fact he was brought up in the Republic of Ghana, will allow Prom Resources to leverage his relationships and knowledge to further the company's operations and expansion.
