CCTV Distributed Video System

Porta Systems CCTV Distributed Video System is a unique patent-pending balun design that transmits up to four independent CCTV video signals over a single four pair CAT5 or better UTP cable. The PS-211-DVB4 Distributed Video System is a set of four CCTV video baluns that allow cameras to be “daisy chained” together. The System gives an edge to security installers by providing a smart streamlined installation with a single cable run from one camera to another and then back to the head-end. Standard active or passive baluns are required at the head-end to complete the system.

“The Touch Screen DVR and CCTV Distributed Video System extends our strategy of providing a broad range of security products dedicated to improving the economics and reliability of a CCTV video surveillance system,” said Ralph DePascale, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Both of these products deliver improved performance and ease of use while ensuring critical protection and flexibility of your CCTV system.”
