Nestle SA (NESN.EB) said Wednesday that Nespresso has created two new production lines at its Romont factory in Switzerland to meet demand for the Vertuo coffee system.
The Swiss food-and-beverage company said the investment is valued at 43 million Swiss francs ($43.3 million) and it will create an additional 33 jobs over the next two years.
Nestle has turned its focus on to coffee in recent months and in May it signed a more-than $7 billion deal to sell Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) products world-wide.
