BUDAPEST--Hungarian oil and gas firm MOL Nyrt. (MOL.BU) said Friday that its public tender offer for the ordinary registered shares of petrochemicals firm TVK Nyrt. (TVK.BU) it hadn't already owned was successful.
MAIN FACTS:
- TVK shareholders offered a total of 1,028,926 ordinary shares, or 82.4% of the free float, of TVK to MOL to purchase under the public offer.
- MOL accepted the shares offered.
- MOL made the offer at 4,984 forints ($18.00) a share.
- If MOL purchases the offered shares, its stake in TVK will increase to 99.1% from 94.86%.
