Other Events .

 

On May 29, 2008, Mutual Federal Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors has approved a stock repurchase program, authorizing the purchase of up to 5%, or 175,500 shares, of the Company’s currently outstanding shares of common stock, from time to time, in open market or privately negotiated transactions as market conditions warrant. Shares repurchased, if any, would be available for issuance under the Company’s stock option plan and management recognition and retention plan, and for other general corporate purposes.

 

A copy of the press release regarding the Company’s announcement is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
