Mutual Federal Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that, on April 15, 2008, its Board of Directors declared the Company’s first quarterly dividend of $0.06 per share of common stock.  A copy of the press release regarding the Company’s announcement is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
