MedQuist Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ/GS: MEDH), a leading provider of integrated clinical documentation solutions for the U.S. healthcare system, announced today that Michael Raymer has joined MedQuist as the Senior Vice President of Solutions Management.

In this newly created role, Raymer will be responsible for managing all aspects of MedQuist’s enterprise focused healthcare products and solutions, including strategic design, planning and implementation of the Company’s product roadmap in conjunction with development designers, managers and senior leadership to ensure long-term growth. As changes in the healthcare industry drive new demands, Raymer will provide product management direction to maximize the Company’s technology and keep its customers ahead of these changes.

Raymer’s 20 plus years of healthcare experience are rich with dynamic leadership in the enterprise and specialty clinical software markets. He joins MedQuist from Microsoft, where he was one of the key architects of the recently announced Microsoft / GE Healthcare joint venture. He has also previously held executive positions at Misys Healthcare, GE Healthcare, IDX Systems Corporation and Nellcor Puritan Bennett. In these roles, he led teams of clinicians, engineers and customers to create innovative solutions that have improved the delivery of healthcare around the world.
